Pankoudhara Ekadashi: The Divine Glory of Lord Lokanath

Significance of Pankoudhara Ekadashi:
- This is a special Ekadashi that grants the blessings of both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu.
- Once a year, on this day, devotees get to have darshan of Baba Lokanath’s main lingam. The Bilva leaves and other offerings that have been dedicated throughout the year are removed on this day.
- Lord Shri Ramchandra observed this Ekadashi fast to achieve victory over Ravana, which is why this Ekadashi is also called Vijay Ekadashi. Those who observe a fast on this day achieve victory in all areas of life as it honors both Hari and Har.
- Observing this vrat (fast) helps overcome illnesses, diseases, and enemies.
Baba Loknath: In Puri's Shri Kshetra, Baba Loknath is regarded as the guardian of Lord Jagannath's treasure. He is a self-manifested Loknath, and devotees have immense faith and reverence for him. He is also called Laukeshwar, and his independent temple is located in the western direction of the Shri Mandir, near Parvati Sagar. Among the Panch Mahadeva and the five Pandavas, he is compared with the second Pandava, Bhima.
